AmCham Christmas Reception
AmCham Macedonia invited its members to a Christmas reception held at the Aleksandar Palace Hotel. AmCham Macedonia used the opportunity to inform its members of the past achievements and activities as well as to launch its Program for 2010. The event was attended by the US Ambassador to the Republic of Macedonia, the Honorable Philip Reeker, officials from the US Embassy in Macedonia, AmCham board members, as well as numerous members and guests.
  
The AmCham Executive Director, Ms. Sonja McGurk, welcomed the guests and informed the members on the activities and events planned for 2010. Ms. McGurk thanked the 2009 Patron members for their continuous support throughout the year and announced that two additional Patron members have joined the Chamber for 2010 – Komercijalna Banka and Vitaminka, bringing the total number of Patron members to eight. The ceremony continued with the US Ambassador’s speech. He highlighted the activities of the past year and praised the Chamber’s activities in front of the large community of members and friends. He stressed that chamber should concentrate its efforts more on regional cooperation as well as policy issues in the future. The event continued in the Christmas spirit, with the guest having an opportunity to sample traditional American Christmas food and drinks such as sparkling wine (courtesy of Skovin winery) eggnog, mulled wine, and apple cider and enjoying the Christmas music well into the night. |
