Semos Multimedia Raises the Bar with a New Web Portal for Nova International Schools
 Nova International Schools was looking for a long overdue improvement of their existing website. Their intention was to create a web portal that would reach out to all NOVA stakeholders, especially their students and parents.
Semos Multimedia was selected as their partner in tackling this challenging task. Within a three month period, Semos Multimedia completely revamped NOVA’s web portal adding an unprecedented level of interactivity and raising the bar for educational web portals in the country.
NOVA International Schools is the leading independent primary and secondary school in Macedonia, offering a co-educational college preparatory curriculum in English. The school is best known for its superb academic program that exposes young people from all corners of the world to a community of talented educators.
The idea behind the portal is to develop an educational network that will facilitate online communication and collaboration between users. It was intended to serve as a meeting place for students, teachers, parents and other visitors. Some of the key features implemented include: an interactive calendar, interactive campus map, online class integration, content management and workflow, online student applications, alumni relations, faculty blog and student forums.
“We wanted to set the bar high for Macedonian and international schools. Our mission is to create a high quality educational and technological program. Our new web portal brings us several steps closer to this goal,” said Mr. Ivan Novakovski, Business Manager at NOVA.
Semos Multimedia custom-tailored the design of the web portal that will increase brand awareness, improve online communication and services for all NOVA stakeholders.
