McCann Erickson Skopje Wins Prestigious Creativity Award
McCann Erickson Skopje recently proved its commitment, determination and creativity at this year’s Festival of Media Awards in Valencia, Spain. The company won a prestigious creativity award for their “Check them!” public awareness campaign on testicular cancer. The campaign was developed for Veritas Spiriti and combined creativity and effectiveness to produce a truly unique advertising campaign.
The Festival of Media Awards was established in 2007 in cooperation with Advertising Age. The creativity award is conferred by a jury and sponsored by Euronews. After two days of debate the jury of 28 advertisers, communication experts and world media representatives nominated 650 participants in various categories; only 18 of these were eventually declared winners. 52 countries were nominated for regional campaigns from Europe, North America and Asia. Most nominations went to North America, followed by Great Britain, Canada, Germany, India and China. In this tough competition McCann Erickson Skopje was honored to not only be shortlisted, but then to win one of the most desired awards.
